John G. Brisson

Professor John G. Brisson is a renowned expert in cryogenics and applied physics, currently serving as the Head of Magnets and Cryogenics at MIT's Plasma Science and Fusion Center, and MIT's J-WEL Advisory Committee Chair of Higher Education. With a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Harvard University, he has held various prestigious positions at MIT, including Associate Department Head of Education and Director of the Cryogenics Engineering Lab.
