Jacob Adams

Mr Adams is a PhD graduate student who is developing new cryogenic refrigerators inspired by acoustic wind instruments. His Master’s thesis at MIT was on the development of drawn-polymer micro-channel heat exchangers with application to recuperative cryocoolers. He received his bachelor's of mechanical engineering and physics from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 2018. When not in the lab, he will be found working out with the gymnastics or wrestling teams!
